What is fitness coaching?
A fitness coach combines the coaching process and fitness instruction to empower individuals to develop a fit lifestyle. They also help educate individuals on sustainable lifestyle.
A fit lifestyle includes a level of regular physical activity sufficient to:
1. increase physical, mental, and emotional energy,
2. manage weight and stress,
3. prevent or treat health risks and medical conditions, and
4. improve self-image and self-esteem
Coaches do not make diagnoses instead, they focus on accountability.
The fitness coaching has several stages:
1. Clients provide background information
2. Meet face to face with coach to determine need
3. Weekly schedule and meetup
4. Reassessment every month
